Function Nursing Facility Position National Contracts Coordinator | FTC Introduction

A vacancy exists for a National Contracts Coordinator, reporting to the Client Relationship Manager based at LHS Midrand. The incumbent will assume responsibility for ensuring overall coordinating, facilitating and scheduling of medical surveillance services for various national clients

Critical Outputs
  • Central co-ordination of medical surveillance scheduling requirements for employees through (LHS Mobile units; preferred provider network; off-site clinics etc)
  • Regular communication with Data Capturers, Key Accounts Manager, Clinic Sisters, Operations Managers
  • Attending to queries & complaints and implement corrective action within agreed turnaround times.
  • Tracking, control and follow up of medical examinations, submission of certificate of fitness to site managers.
  • Maintain an efficient, up to date tracking and filing system
  • Sourcing additional external preferred providers onto the network, as and when required.
  • Management of data, employee medical records, referrals and feedback systems.
  • Co-ordination of biological monitoring requirements and schedule.
  • Monitoring of medical surveillance schedule, including reporting of “no-shows” to the responsible client on site
  • Medical surveillance progress report, weekly and monthly updates
  • Develop remote relationships and co-operation with site managers
  • Attend national/key client meetings with Key Accounts Manager, if required.
  • Familiarise with Data Coordinator functions and assist with:

  • Invoicing and reconciliation of Account statements
  • Payment of external and preferred providers
  • Requirements
  • The candidates must be registered as a Registered Nurse and an Occupational Health Nurse with SANC.
  • A certificate in dispensing, audiometry, spirometry and vision screening is advantageous.
  • Registration with SASOHN as audiometrists is advantageous.
  • Candidates who are results orientated, have initiative and the ability to deliver quality outputs and reduce costs, will be most suitable for this position.
  • Customer orientation, focus and teamwork complete the profile
  • Computer literacy (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook)
  • Own transport will be required.
  • Competencies
  • The following qualifications are required:
  • Qualifications in General Nursing
  • Occupational Health Nursing B Tech/ Diploma with minimum of 5 experience in a practical Occupational Health setup
  • Registration with SANC.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Candidates may be required to work remotely at times and must have their own internal connection,

    Competency:
  • Spirometry
  • Audiometry certificate and registration as an Audiometrist with SASOHN
  • Vision screening
