What will you do?The Digital Performance Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and optimising the performance of all digital channels (website, mobile app, and digital campaigns) to drive customer acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention. This role plays a critical part in translating data into actionable insights to improve customer journeys, reduce friction, and increase ROI across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Digital performance monitoring & reporting – track and report on key digital KPIs (traffic, conversion rates, customer engagement).
- Customer journey & funnel analysis – analyse end‑to‑end digital journeys, identify drop‑off points, and recommend improvements.
- Conversion rate optimisation (CRO) – design and execute A/B and multivariate tests, develop hypotheses, and measure experiment outcomes.
- Campaign & channel performance analysis – evaluate performance of email, SMS, Whats App campaigns, organic traffic (SEO), and optimise targeting and segmentation.
- Data integration & attribution – support development of multi‑touch attribution models and integrate data from Google Analytics, CRM, and policy administration systems.
- Insights & strategic recommendations – translate complex data into actionable insights and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Proactive performance optimisation – identify behavioural signals to trigger conversion nudges and personalised offers.
- Data governance & accuracy – ensure accuracy of tracking and maintain data integrity and compliance (POPIA).
- Degree in Analytical studies (Data, Stats, Maths, Computer Science, etc.)
- Business/Marketing with a strong analytics focus
- 3–5 years in digital analytics
- Performance marketing analytics experience
- Strong experience with Google Analytics 4/Firebase and tag management systems (GTM)
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools, A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target, Crazy Egg, etc.) and heat mapping tools (Hotjar, Contentsquare)
- Analytical skills with strong quantitative and problem‑solving ability
- Experience in funnel and cohort analysis
- Business and industry knowledge – digital marketing channels and insurance products (motor, home, life)
