3G Mobile – SAP Business One Consultant

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior SAP Business One (SAP B1) Consultant to join our IT team. In this senior role you will take ownership of the full SAP B1 environment — from strategic system design and implementation to advanced troubleshooting, integration and user enablement. You will serve as the primary technical authority for SAP B1 and its ecosystem, driving continuous improvement across business processes, system integrations, and third‑party add‑on solutions.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on SAP B1 expertise, strong API and database skills, and the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

• SAP B1 System Management
  :
  Own and manage the end‑to‑end SAP Business One environment ensuring high availability, performance, reliability and security across all company entities.
• Senior Consulting & Solution Design
  :
  Lead requirements gathering sessions, design solutions within SAP B1, and translate complex business requirements into scalable, best‑practice system configurations.
• Add‑On Implementation & Management
  :
  Implement, configure and support SAP B1 add‑on solutions, with particular focus on Boyum IT products (B1 Usability Package, Beas Manufacturing, Produmex and related modules). Evaluate and onboard additional add‑ons as the business requires.
• API Integration & Development
  :
  Design, build and maintain integrations using the SAP B1 Service Layer and DI API. Develop and test API endpoints using Postman; document all integration specifications and maintain a Postman collection library for ongoing regression testing.
• Database Administration & Reporting
  :
  Write, optimise and maintain MS SQL queries, stored procedures and views to support reporting, data migration and system health monitoring. Develop Crystal Reports and advanced SQL‑based reports as required by the business.
• Customer & Stakeholder Suppor
  t:
  Provide senior‑level support to internal and external customers locally and internationally. Manage resolution expectations, elevate where appropriate, and ensure all issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.
• Query & Incident Resolution
  :
  Investigate and resolve complex SAP B1 and related component queries. Provide thorough root‑cause analysis and document findings for the knowledge base.
• Collaboration & Mentorship
  :
  Liaise with implementation partners, vendors and internal teams. Mentor junior administrators and support staff, promoting knowledge transfer and team capability growth.
• Data Integration & Continuous Improvement
  :
  Identify and implement optimisation opportunities across integrations, add‑ons and workflows. Stay current with SAP B1 releases, Boyum updates and industry best practices.

• Matric plus tertiary qualification (certificate, diploma or degree) in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• SAP Business One certification (required).
• Boyum IT product certification or proven equivalent hands‑on experience (advantageous).
• Qlik Sense / Qlik View certification (advantageous).

• Minimum 4–6 years of hands‑on experience with SAP Business One in a consulting or senior support capacity.
• Proven track record implementing or supporting SAP B1 in multi‑entity or international environments.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP B1 add‑on solutions, with Boyum IT products being a strong advantage (B1 Usability Package, Beas, Produmex).
• Solid experience integrating SAP B1 via the Service Layer / DI API and third‑party middleware.
• Experience in an ERP consulting or MSP environment preferred.
