Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Finance, Procurement and Oracle EBS R12
? Our client in the pharmaceutical industry is looking for a highly skilled Functional Configuration Specialist to join its Corporate IT environment and act as the critical link between financial operations and technology. You will work closely with senior finance stakeholders to analyse business requirements, improve and automate processes, configure effective system solutions and ensure applications remain reliable, compliant and aligned with business objectives

• BSc in Computer Science, Finance-related degree, or equivalent qualification
• 10+ years’ experience in Business and Systems Analysis
• Strong understanding of Finance and Procurement business processes
• Experience with in the Pharmaceutical, FMCG or Manufacturing environment
• Proven Oracle EBS R12 implementation and support experience
• Strong financial background with the ability to understand and interpret company financial results
• Experience engaging with CFOs, Financial Managers and Accountants
• Strong system design and functional configuration experience
• Experience in the following modules and/or business processes:
  • Procure-to-Pay, including Purchase Orders and Accounts Payable
  • Trade Marketing
  • Financial Accounting
  • General Ledger
  • Subledger Accounting
  • GL Wand and Report Wand
  • Fixed Assets
  • Cash Management
  • e-Business Tax
• Project management experience
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to develop and conduct user training sessions
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong facilitation skills
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and objectives

• Analyse business information requirements and translate them into effective system requirements
• Assess the utilisation and effectiveness of current systems and identify areas for improvement
• Evaluate potential application solutions to determine suitability and compatibility with the existing systems environment
• Develop clear business and functional specifications
• Configure and implement application solutions, including internally developed applications and packaged software solutions
• Lead and manage application projects from inception through to successful completion
• Ensure project delivery meets agreed specifications, architectural standards and project plans
• Work closely with Finance and Procurement stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate business processes
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system and business process documentation
• Support the rollout and implementation of new systems and projects in collaboration with operational teams
• Provide functional support for Oracle EBS Finance and Procurement applications
• Ensure data integrity, system reliability and adherence to established governance and compliance requirements
• Facilitate user training and support successful adoption of new or enhanced solutions
• Build effective working relationships with senior finance stakeholders and translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions
