Are you detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for packaging optimization? Our client is looking for a Packaging Analyst to support packaging performance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement across operations. The company is based in Midrand and it is on a contractual basis.

Minimum Requirements

Matric (Grade 12)
2–4 years’ experience within the FMCG industry or Preferably Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial
Engineering Qualification (Ndip/ Btech/ BEng)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Syspro, Acumatica, SAP, or other ERP systems
Knowledge of packaging materials, specifications, and quality standards

Key Responsibilities

Analyze packaging processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost
Assist with developing and training of SOPs
Monitor and report on packaging performance metrics
Standby for production over weekends when required
Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, and logistics teams
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
Support trials, validations, and implementation of new packaging materials or designs
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management
Optimize production processes within Packaging to drive efficiency and sustainable quality
Assist Packaging department with accurate data capturing and effective use of Dashboards
Support Packaging manager with TNA and Training process development, assessment & observations
