Job Objective

Liaise with warehouse manager regarding incoming and output quality activities, before the finished product leaves the factory, a factory inspection must be carried out to achieve the goal of zero defect and zero complaints.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out periodic checks with the use of fixed gauges and adhering to the laid down quality procedures and recording of inspection and/or test results

Inspection of finished product packaging: whether the packaging is firm and whether it meets transportation requirements.

Meters identification inspection: if the trademark batch number is correct, if the delivery note ready and MO information is correct

Ensure meter numbers correspond with the number on meter cards

Visual inspection: whether the appearance is damaged, cracked, scratched, etc.

Ensure that each batch of shipment has a record of the meter numbers and sends it to the relevant personnel

Complete other work tasks delivered by superiors

Manage the return and collection of RMAs (Return Meter Authorization)

Do 5S and other management work in the inspection area

Assist with inventory/ audit when required

Record and complete related quality reports

Ensuring daily/weekly/monthly targets are adhered to and met

All ADHOC duties deemed suitable

Ensure that you are present on production floor at designated workstation by 8:00

Job Requirements Educational Background

National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Matric

Work Experience

Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Computer literate
Experience in manufacturing environment
Warehouse and dispatch experience
