About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaning Technician to join their team in Midrand . You will be responsible for operating specialized cleaning equipment and applying appropriate cleaning solutions to various industrial surfaces and machinery.

• Perform thorough cleaning of industrial equipment, floors, walls, and production areas according to established schedules and standards.
• Operate and maintain specialized cleaning machinery, such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and industrial vacuums.
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials and waste in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Prepare and mix cleaning solutions and chemicals according to manufacturer and safety guidelines.
• Inspect work areas to identify potential hazards or areas requiring special attention, reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Proven experience in industrial or commercial cleaning, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends if required.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a cleaning context.
