About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Production Line Supervisor to oversee operations at their manufacturing facility in Midrand . You will be responsible for leading a team of production staff, ensuring that all targets for quality, output, and safety are met consistently. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and fostering a productive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement within the manufacturing sector.
You will play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes and ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production line team, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Monitor production output, quality, and safety standards , implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Train and mentor production staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to resolve production issues.
- Enforce all company policies and safety regulations on the production floor.
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control , and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
