SHEQ Administrator

Job Purpose:

To provide administrative and coordination support to the SHEQ function, ensuring that SHEQ documentation, records, reports and compliance activities are accurately maintained and readily available.

The role will support the SHEQ team in maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, ISO requirements, health and safety legislation and other applicable standards.

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12
• N4-N6 Certificate in SHEQ, Occupational Health and Safety or Quality Management or a related field.
• National Diploma (Advantage).
• Certificate in First Aid and SHE Representative (Advantage

Experience:

• 1–2-year Experience in SHEQ administrative
• 1–2-year Experience ISO 9001:2015 Standard and the associated Quality management system
• 1 Year Understanding of Health & Safety requirements
• Experience in Construction or Engineering Industry (Advantage)

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of electrical hazards and at least Level 1 First Aid certification (Either has or be willing to go on a first aid course)
• Knowledge of dealing with hazards, reporting process and accident investigation process
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective organizational operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
• Knowledge of ‘SHERQ’ Principles and Procedures
• Knowledge of Ms Package (Microsoft outlook, Spreadsheets, Excel, Ms Visio)
• Knowledge of the relevant legislation (OHSA, BCEA, COIDA, ISO: 9001)
