Overview

We are looking for an Account Manager to secure short‑ and long‑term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development based on a fundamental understanding of the customers’ business, operations and objectives. Actively manage and mobilise internal resources to deliver efficient and effective end‑to‑end solutions allowing seamless transition from sales to operations.

What you will do
  • Be part of the CU Sales team, providing overall accountability for all CU Sales activities, ensuring profitability, compliance and proper governance.
  • Support Opco Sales organisation to ensure compliance to existing GFAs and agreements.
  • Interface customer group and Opco to maximise customer relationships.
  • Pass knowledge to CU account managers through sharing of processes, best practices, protocols and sales strategies.
  • Create sales opportunities that generate profitable sales.
  • Oversee optimisation of the account team’s performance and enable seamless transition to operations.
  • Foster a close working relationship with the customer to understand and suitably address their needs.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Business/Technology or similar.
  • Min 10 years of experience in relationship sales and 5 years from the ICT industry.
  • Domain experience:
    Mobile Networks / RAN / Enterprise.
  • Consultative selling skills and commercial understanding.
  • Customer and market insights and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership experience.
  • South Africa and Regional Mobile Industry experience.
  • Innovative and creative.
  • Social ability and interpersonal skills.
  • Intellectual ability and critical thinking.
  • Accountable and committed with a passion to win.
  • Perseverant and result oriented.
