Product Manager - HP Consumer

Key Responsibilities

• Drive monthly GP, sell-in, sell-out, stock and aged-stock targets
• Manage product profitability, pricing and margin structures
• Manage OTB, stock budgets and weeks of inventory
• Monitor and optimise stock levels across the portfolio
• Oversee order management and end-to-end logistics processes
• Produce product costings, pricing and retailer quotations
• Support sales teams with quotations, listings and commercial input
• Lead weekly sales meetings and resolve stock-related challenges
• Manage vendor credits, AP variances and related disputes
• Build strong relationships with vendors, retailers, customers and internal stakeholders
• Work closely with HP on product strategy, incentives and promotional programmes
• Track performance and provide meaningful commercial insights
• Maintain accurate ERP product codes, pricing and agreements
• Deliver product and sales training to internal teams
• Stay abreast of market trends, new products and technology roadmaps.

• Minimum 3 years' Product Management experience
• Proven sales track record, preferably within ICT Distribution
• Minimum 3 years in a target-driven environment
• At least 2 years' logistics experience
• Strong experience collaborating with sales teams
• Proven experience dealing with customers at different organisational levels
• Strong commercial and administrative capability
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Ability to work with formulas, calculations, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong interest in technology and IT products
• Highly organised, self-motivated and able to perform under pressure.

Matric required. A relevant tertiary qualification/diploma in Sales, Marketing or Finance would be advantageous.

A valid driver's licence and own vehicle are required. Local and interprovincial travel will be required.
