Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join their Community & Social Care team in Midrand . This vital role involves providing essential support services to individuals and families within the community, aiming to improve their well-being and resilience. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to address social challenges, promote empowerment, and connect clients with necessary resources.

• Conduct comprehensive social assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized support plans.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups facing diverse challenges.
• Facilitate access to community resources, social services, and support networks.
• Advocate for client rights and ensure their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other community agencies to coordinate care and services.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• Proven experience in community outreach and case management.
• Strong understanding of social welfare legislation and policies in South Africa .
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and manage complex caseloads.
