Software Engineering Intern

The Intern will assist in developing and executing test plans and test cases based on project requirements. Responsibilities include conducting manual and automated testing to identify software bugs, documenting test results, reporting defects, and collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure clarity in requirements. The intern will participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, contribute to improving testing processes, and stay informed about industry trends and best practices in software testing.

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases
• Conduct manual and automated software testing
• Document test results and track issues using project management tools
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements
• Contribute to improving testing processes and frameworks
• Stay updated on software testing best practices

• National Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of software development processes and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (eg Selenium, JUnit, Postman) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages is a bonus
