Position: Office Manager, Computer savvy, Assistant.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Utah Gold Buyers is looking for a reliable and experienced Office Manager / Business Operations Coordinator to help run the day-to-day operations of our shop. This role includes office management, financial tracking, digital tasks, and supporting the owner with business operations.

We specialize in buying and selling gold, silver, jewelry, bullion, coins, watches, dental gold, and scrap metal for refining. Responsibilities Office & Administrative
  • Manage daily front-office operations
  • Handle AR/AP, basic bookkeeping, and recordkeeping
  • Learn and manage the POS system, including pricing updates
  • Answer emails, calls, and customer messages
  • Keep the office organized and running smoothly
Business Support
  • Review and understand P&L statements
  • Help identify areas to improve profits and reduce losses
  • Assist the owner with planning and daily tasks
  • Support overall business efficiency
Digital Tasks
  • Maintain and update online listings (eBay, What Not, website)
  • Upload item photos and descriptions
  • Update website pricing
  • Manage basic social media messages and posts
Customer Support
  • Assist walk-in customers when needed
  • Help at the counter during busy times
  • Support positive communication in the shop
Qualifications Required
  • Must be honest, trustworthy, and able to pass a federal background check
  • Previous office management experience
  • Basic understanding of business operations and financial concepts
  • Ability to read and work with P&L reports
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Good communication skills
  • Comfortable in a small office environment
  • Tech-savvy and able to learn new systems
Preferred (Not Required)
  • Experience with precious metals or coins
  • Familiarity with eBay, What Not, or similar platforms
  • Digital marketing or social media experience
  • Bookkeeping or accounting background
Additional Information

This is a full time position. Wage is negotiable depending on your experience. From $21-32 Per Hour. There are possible bonus & perks that come with the position.
