Membership Coordinator (Midvale)
Location:
Midvale Boys & Girls Club, 7631 Chapel St, Midvale, UT 84047
Reports to:
Club Director
Salary Range: $16-17/hr+ DOE
Hours and
Schedule:
25 hours/week M-F 1:30-6:30pm, with potential for more summer hours
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate membership records and database entries, process applications and renewals
- Field inquiries from families and provide exceptional customer service
- Help coordinate member events and meetings
- Maintain office supplies and inventory
- Assist with financial tasks such as invoicing and payment processing
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Engage with our young members, offering mentorship and support as they navigate their Club experience
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- Some front desk, office, or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Docs, with ability to learn new software tools as needed
- Excellent organizational skills, with both electronic data and physical files
- Ability to handle personal information with sensitivity and confidentiality
- Ability to communicate effectively over the phone, in person, and over email
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a lively, energetic environment
- Bilingual Spanish/English speaking fluency required
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, MVR check, and drug screening
- 21 years and over (to meet driving requirements), be willing and able to drive 15 passenger vans
- 2 years of office and/or customer service experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of experience working with youth (Preferred)
- Work-Life Balance:
Monday through Friday schedule, no late nights or weekend required - PTO and floating holidays after three months; paid birthday off (if applicable)
