• Greet and assist customers promptly, handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing to merchandise, and offering recommendations.
• Promote store events, promotions, and special activities to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges when possible.
• Inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as cash registers and mobile devices.
• Good communicator, able to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on‑the‑job training.

• Frequently operate a cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise up to 25 lbs and handle items up to 5–10 feet in height.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers in the store and with managers and coworkers.
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel as required.
• Identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80 % of the time.
