Gene Fullmer is a Fitness & Recreation Center located in West Jordan that includes one gymnasium with two full courts, a fitness room, aerobic room, walking track, part-time drop-in child care, indoor lap pool, and an indoor play pool. During the summer, we operate the West Jordan Outdoor Pool. Perks include flexible hours, a free center membership to employees, and a fun environment.

We are looking for motivated, reliable people for the following areas:

• Aquatics -- Age 16+
  • Lifeguards
  • Lifeguard Trainee
  • Swim Instructors
  • Swim Team Coaches
• Recreation - Sports Referees -- Age 14+
  • Soccer
  • Baseball
  • Basketball
  • Tennis
• Group Fitness Instructors -- Age 18+
• Childcare
  • Drop-in Child Care -- Age 18+
• Customer Service Team
  • Evening and Weekend Custodian -- Age 16+
  • Front Desk Attendant -- Age 16+
  • Building Attendant -- Age 18+

Due to the nature of some of these positions, the selected applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.

An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.
