Overview
We’re a fast-paced staging and design company seeking a skilled Moving Manager to lead our installations and moving logistics. This is a hands-on leadership role—ideal for someone who’s organized, physically capable, self-motivated, autonomous, and experienced with moving crews, trailers, and transport coordination.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of movers/installers
- Take initiative on solo takedowns and confidently lead team operations start to finish
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Coordinate daily staging deliveries, pickups, and warehouse prep
- Safely load, transport, and install furniture and décor on-site
- Wrap and protect furniture to prevent damage during transport and installation
- Collaborate with designers to execute staging plans accurately
- Hook up and tow enclosed trailers to various staging sites
- Track and move inventory using internal systems
- Light furniture cleaning/touch-up and on-site adjustments
- Organize warehouse and assist in maintaining efficient systems
- Run moving-related errands independently as needed
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicles and equipment through regular inspections and basic upkeep to ensure reliable transportation for installations and deliveries
- Experience in moving, logistics, or staging (2+ years preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Trailer towing experience required (hookup, backing, safe transport)
- Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs consistently
- Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Basic knowledge of fleet and trailer maintenance is a plus, along with experience maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment
- Comfortable using apps or mobile tools for tracking and scheduling
- Schedule: 4-day work week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (we work until the job is complete, regularly extending hours and occasional early starts as needed)
- Looking for a flexible candidate comfortable with variable workdays and hours depending on the workload
