Capital Projects Engineer

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Capital Projects Engineer in the Public Works Administration department. The incumbent performs managerial and professional work involved in planning, directing and coordinating capital improvement projects, engineering data collection or maintenance activities, and publicly owned or funded construction projects related to Public Works. Requires a four-year degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or related field, registration as a Professional Engineer by the State of Oklahoma or the ability to obtain registration within six (6) months of employment.

Must possess a valid state driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record. Licensed land surveyor in the State of Oklahoma, Project Management Professional, and/or Certified Floodplain Manager are also desirable. Previous responsible experience in professional municipal, highway, or construction engineering and supervisory experience preferred. Starting Salary: $50./HR. w/Benefits.
