Salary Range: $15.00 To $17.00 Hourly

The Shift Lead plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations during their assigned shift by overseeing team members and managing daily activities. This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, operational excellence, and team productivity. The Shift Lead acts as a liaison between management and staff, facilitating communication and addressing any issues that arise promptly.

They are instrumental in training new employees, enforcing company policies, and motivating the team to achieve performance goals. Ultimately, the Shift Lead ensures that all operational objectives are met while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and standard office software.

• Experience with staff scheduling and workforce management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Certification in customer service or leadership training programs.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during the shift to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or feedback to promote continuous improvement and adherence to company standards.
• Manage shift schedules, breaks, and task assignments to optimize productivity and coverage.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally and promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational policies and procedures throughout the shift.
• Assist in training new employees and supporting their integration into the team.
• Prepare and submit shift reports detailing operational issues, staff performance, and any incidents.

The Shift Lead utilizes strong leadership and communication skills daily to guide and support team members, ensuring clear understanding of tasks and expectations. Problem-solving abilities are essential for addressing operational challenges and customer concerns efficiently. Organizational skills are applied to manage shift schedules, delegate responsibilities, and maintain accurate records.
