The Retail Associate ensures customers have a positive shopping experience. They greet customers, treat teammates with respect, follow best‑practice standards, maintain a clean work area, and ensure proper merchandise presentation.

• Safety is the number one priority – practice safe behaviors.
• Maintain awareness on the sales floor, keep egress clear, and report unsafe conditions.
• Treat all customers and teammates with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
• Assist customers – register‑trained, answer questions, and greet with a smile.
• Respond promptly and courteously to customer issues, escalating to leadership when needed.
• Represent and support the company brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, dusting, replenishing supplies).
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the dress code.
• Expedite merchandise receipts and merchandize per company guidelines.
• Follow loss‑prevention and merchandise protection standards.
• Safeguard confidential information, cash, and merchandise.
• Follow MOS policies and cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate urgency and maximize productivity with best practices.

• Effective communication with customers, teammates, and leadership.
• Basic mathematical calculations used in retail.

• Use all store equipment (PDTs, registers, PC).
• Stand, walk, and move around the store up to 100% of the working time.
• Bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop regularly.
• Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other supplies.
• Some assignments may require additional qualifications.
• Stockroom shifts: push, pull, and lift more than 20 pounds.
