The Role
Director, Platform Enterprise Account Executive – a high‑impact “Closer” and “Hunter” focused on driving new platform acquisition across a tiered customer base from Global Pharmaceutical enterprises to high‑growth Biotech and tech‑forward startups.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain deep, strategic relationships with C‑level and S/VP‑level executives in Global Pharma and high‑growth Biotech/Tech/Immunotherapeutics firms.
- Design and execute the Platform GTM strategy, including market analysis, account segmentation, and a detailed action plan to acquire Enterprise accounts.
- Lead the full sales cycle to close high‑value contracts and manage priority conversations throughout the pipeline.
- Represent Parallel Bio at industry events, conferences, and high‑level meetings to broaden connectivity across the Life Sciences ecosystem.
- Advise leadership and scientific founders on commercialization strategy, pricing, and product positioning based on market insights.
- Communicate technical and commercial differentiation of our platform to both technical R&D audiences and executive business stakeholders.
- Accurately forecast revenue pipeline, manage CRM activities, and maintain operational excellence aligned with firm‑wide goals.
- 4‑6 years of proven quota‑carrying sales and business development experience; 2‑3 years of experience closing complex Enterprise Platform/Subscription deals ($1M+ ARR).
- Success selling sophisticated SaaS, AI/ML, or biotech platform technologies into SaaS/Software‑based Life Sciences.
- Extensive network of R&D, Clinical, and Technology leaders in Global Pharma and emerging Biotech.
- Deep experience cultivating multi‑year relationships with C‑level and S/VP‑level executives.
- Strong acumen of biotech R&D and enterprise SaaS/Software, with stay‑ahead of AI/ML and computational biology trends.
- Expertise in subscription‑based selling and structuring long‑term recurring revenue partnerships.
- Balanced “Hunter” and “Closer” mindset with a data‑driven approach to sales and GTM strategy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; executive presence and meticulous detail orientation.
- High empathy, low ego, and a collaborative approach across scientific, engineering, and commercial teams.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at building structure and processes for fast‑paced growth.
- Track record of strong relationships with Enterprise Pharma and AI/Biotech startup founders.
- Experience selling biotech tools, services, or platforms used in early‑stage R&D (pre‑clinical/Phase I).
- B.S. or M.S. in a Life Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Bioengineering, etc.).
