Main Responsibilities   Lead and support two experienced team members based in Trezzano
Oversee monthly close activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of general ledgers, sub-ledgers, and related accounts
Ensure compliance with Trane Technologies’ Standards of Internal Control, FICAP requirements, and reporting timetables
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations in line with internal control standards
Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements and audit files
Manage statutory audits and ensure timely completion of all required statutory filings
Support the tax function and liaise with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely filing of local tax returns
Ensure compliance with VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing requirements
Prepare quarterly US GAAP tax provisions using One Source for relevant legal entities
Lead and participate in MDI initiatives, including AI projects, automation, reporting improvement, and productivity actions
Identify, address, and resolve compliance issues within the area of responsibility
Monitor and use performance metrics and KPIs to support continuous improvement
Build effective working relationships with business unit teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Internal interactions: RTR Finance Shared Services Team, Bangalore Senior Finance Leaders for both the RtR function and the Business units Tax , VAT, Treasury and Legal functions Corporate Reporting team Internal Audit and SOX teams
External interactions:
External Auditors Tax advisors OdV Supervisory Board (LD 231/2001)
What you will bring   Essential Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
Strong experience with financial and tax systems such as Oracle and One Source
Good knowledge of Italian GAAP and US GAAP
Proven leadership capability, with the ability to operate effectively as a collaborative team player and trusted business partner.
Experience as a people manager or coordinator, with innovation and promoting continuous improvement mindset.
Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage high volumes of data accurately and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge and practical use of AI applications is considered a strong plus
Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of another European language is welcome.
