Construction Manager; Data Centres

Position: Construction Manager (Data Centres)
We are supporting a leading global data centre developer in the appointment of a Construction Manager to deliver hyperscale data centre projects across EMEA. Working closely with the Construction Director, you will oversee day-to-day construction activities, manage contractors and consultants, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day delivery of hyperscale data centre construction projects.
Coordinate General Contractors, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor programme, budget, quality, safety, and project risks.
Ensure construction activities are delivered in line with design intent, technical specifications, and project milestones.
Support procurement, contractor management, and change control processes.
Work closely with Development, Design, Engineering, Commissioning, and Operations teams.
Maintain project reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
Support commissioning, testing, and final project handover.

Requirements

7+ years' experience delivering hyperscale or mission-critical data centre projects, ideally working client-side for a data centre owner, developer, operator, or hyperscaler.
Proven experience managing General Contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
Experience delivering projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
Strong understanding of construction management, programme delivery, commercial management, and health & safety.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
