Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Engineering from an accredited university
Fifteen (15) years of work experience in the relevant discipline after earning the BSc degree
Excellent spoken and written English, including proven ability to write specifications and reports
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
Technical competency and proficiency in hazards and effects management/risk management principles and techniques
Technical competency as a lead safety representative in Safety Studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, FERA, QRA, etc.)
Project management, coordination, and delivery of safety assessments/studies for risk assessments
Authorship and auditability of technical reports/documents
Development of HSE Management Systems and Emergency Response Plans/Procedures
Conducting safety assurance and compliance assessments
Ensuring compliance with legislative/regulatory requirements and industry standards
Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively at all organizational levels
Experience throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual phase to operational phase
Review and approval of HSE deliverables and plans from contractors
Key Activities
Development of HSE systems
Management of internal HSE audits
Implementation of the organization's Accident Reporting System
