Civil and Structural Lead

Responsibilities

Provide technical support during feasibility and bidding phase / commercial proposal development.
Provide technical support during the execution in all phases of the project.
Perform technical tasks related to civil & structural engineering, including reinforced concrete, structural concrete/steel/pre‑cast buildings and relevant foundations; prepare technical/design specifications; design, verification and checking activities to ensure compliance with project requirements in terms of budget, time schedule and quality standards.
Monitor and control man‑hour consumption.
Manage change orders and variances from the scope of work in a timely manner.
Work with 3D model environments.
Interface with other discipline specialists to gather information and coordinate activities performed inside or outside the company.
Gather and provide records of experiences to improve and harmonize work methodologies.

Education and Experience

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 7‑10 years of experience in civil & structural design, preferably applied to the oil & gas plant sector and/or FPSO within structured engineering companies.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of the main international standards, codes and regulations and ability to analyze project requirements against local regulations.
Knowledge of calculation methods for foundations, concrete works, and steel structures.
Knowledge of construction materials and tests assessing their characteristics.

IT Skills

Office suite proficiency.

Experience with SAP 2000 / STAAD.

Experience with Foundation 3D / Mat Foundation.

Experience with Navisworks.

Experience with Revit.

Experience with DOLMEN IS Fuoco.

Travel & Location

Location:

Milan. Availability to travel for short periods (1 week to 1 month) is required.
