Senior Remediation Engineer

Experteer Overview As a Senior Remediation Engineer at AECOM, you will lead the design, installation, and operation of remediation systems for soil and groundwater, driving projects from proposal to completion. You’ll work with a global team to deliver complex environmental solutions, align with regulatory requirements, and mentor staff. This role combines technical execution with business development and continuous improvement. You’ll operate in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values safety, quality, and impactful outcomes.

Retribuzione / Benefits Manage and develop remediation proposals and projects covering environmental aspects, regulations, and staffing

Conduct remedial alternatives analysis

Oversee project budget and cost-benefit analyses

Coordinate and appoint subcontractors

Ensure all parties meet environmental regulations

Train staff on remediation systems

Build relationships to meet business development goals

Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating project results and sharing lessons learned

Promote health, safety, and quality management at all times

Ensure effective communication with project team and clients

ResponsabilitàMaster’s degree in Engineering/Environmental Sciences5+ years of related experience with a multinational company

Fluency in Italian and English Technically skilled for process-oriented and sampling tasks

Up-to-date with latest legislation and compliance requirements

Flexible and able to adapt direction as needed

Independent or team-working with initiative to complete tasks

Excellent planning, organizational skills, and time management

Willingness to travel nationally for site visits

Industry background advantageous;
Consulting experience preferred
