You’ll collaborate across global peers and engineering groups to share best practices and elevate the data center portfolio.
Responsibilities Maximize CE availability with landlord partners in leased datacenters
Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment
Manage safety, security, and compliance; report safety issues
Contribute to Root Cause Analysis and change governance processes
Drive cost and energy efficiency initiatives
Support Emergency Preparedness and Response plans; act as escalation point
Coordinate CE audits and compliance verification as needed
Report on Power/Temperature/Humidity/SLA metrics for analysis
Foster relationships with Engineering Groups and landlords; share best practices across portfolio
Mentor colleagues and promote learning and process improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Technical College certification in mechanical or electrical engineering and/or services
Experience on large-scale industrial projects or data centers
Proficiency in written, reading, and conversational English Willingness to travel between sites; valid driver’s license
On-site role with limited public transport; own transport advised
Background check clearance for Microsoft Cloud and related security screenings
