Senior Development Manager
What You’ll do (the role)
Support all activities for securing pipeline growth according to company targets and bringing projects through acquisition, filing stages, and into Ready To Build status, Financial Close, and Construction/Operation.
Report and update project authorization timelines, environmental issues/solutions, liquidity prospects, and budgeting through the company IT platform.
Coordinate with internal support functions and external advisors to evaluate greenfield and/or Co-Dev opportunities in PV and BESS markets.
Assist third‑party developers or service providers in applying for and obtaining legal authorizations for ground‑mounted photovoltaic plants and BESS units.
Integrate documents and provide feedback to authorities during the permitting process.
Update and transmit forecasting dashboards of permitting processes (timeline, budgeting, cash flow forecasts, financial impacts) to top management.
Manage environmental mitigation propositions and related issues with third‑party developers and local authorities.
Interface directly with competent authorities, municipalities, landowners, and other stakeholders for project authorizations.
Support other teams in M&A deals or disputes through technical and financial model management.
Support business lines in managing technical due diligence activities.
Knowledge
General knowledge of current regulation framework in the Italian PV and BESS markets.
Excellent knowledge of greenfield development and co‑development processes.
Capability to incorporate assumption changes into financial model analysis.
Excellent command of the English language.
Experience in constraints analysis for PV sites and GIS environment knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications
Five‑year degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Experience
5+ years as a Business Development Manager in the PV market.
Business Development experience in the BESS market is a plus.
Experience and interpersonal skills in managing relations with public organizations.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Able to collaborate effectively with other teams, including Grid, Legal, and Commercial Engineering.
