Senior Project Developer – Data Centers & Renewables

Overview Experteer Overview In this role you lead the end-to-end development of large-scale data center projects across Italy and Western Europe, focusing on power strategy and grid connections. You’ll coordinate cross-functional inputs to build robust business cases and secure long-term energy commitments. You’ll work with partners, utilities, and authorities to move projects from site selection to ready-to-build, balancing commercial, regulatory, and technical considerations.

This is a hands-on, high-impact position in a growing team delivering energy-efficient, grid-integrated data centers.

Retribuzione / Benefits Identify and secure data center sites (greenfield or co-development)
Lead grid connection applications and coordinate with utilities to secure capacity

Structure and negotiate PPAs and other power supply agreements

Manage permitting processes and ensure regulatory compliance

Coordinate technical, legal, and financial inputs for robust business cases and investment committees

Negotiate development, EPC, and O&M contracts as needed

Collaborate with internal engineering, procurement, finance, and external stakeholders (investors, network operators, authorities)
ResponsabilitàProven track record in project development for data centers, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure

Experience leading development through permitting, grid connection, and PPA negotiation

Strong commercial and financial understanding of development economics

Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders

Fluent in Italian and English; other European languages are a plus Willingness to travel within Italy and occasionally across Europe
