Our organization, made up of bright young engineers and professionals from all over the world, is constantly growing and today we are looking for a:
Quality Control Engineer with a solid understanding of industrial, power or chemical plant quality control principles, and a deep desire to be an active contributor in the energy transition industry. Quality Control Engineer will report to the Quality Control Manager .
Previous experience in QC Engineering roles withing Engine ring/Manufacturing site or similar industry, or experience in QC activity in a similar field, would be preferred.
Support Energy Dome in its growth and challenges, bringing fresh nourishments to our ideas and a courageous critical spirit.
Be remarkable in your role, bringing knowledge, mentoring younger people and becoming a reliable reference point for the whole company.
Creation, review and/or approval of Project Inspection and Test Plans, based on contractual requirement and internal standards
Review and approval of preliminary vendor’s procedures like welding book, NDE procedure, PWHT procedure, Hardness Test procedure, etc…
Review and approval of Inspection and Test Records including Final Manufacturing Record books (MRB), issuing Inspection Release Note at time
Carry out inspection activities directly (when needed) during the manufacturing progress as well as at final stage, by performing VDI and/or attending other inspections tasks like NDE, hydrostatic test, etc…
Provide QC support to all internal/external customers, by managing correspondence and keeping a good and productive relationship
Ensure that Company QC Targets are reached
Promote the Company culture as well as QHSE policy
Promote a health, safe and environmentally responsible working environment
Experience in welding, fabrication and standard NDE techniques.
Knowledge of major Codes for pressure Vessel (ASME/EN), Pressure Piping (ASME/EN), Structural Codes (ASCI/EN) and all major Directive/Code/Norms like PED Directive, Machinery Directive, EN1090+ISO
3834, AWS D1.European welding engineers or technologist (desirable)
Painting certification NACE or FROSIO (Desirable)
Languages:
Italian + professional English are mandatory
Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad is mandatory
A genuine interest in clean technologies and energy transition
This role is located in Milan's office, on site.
The role offers a gross annual salary between € in addition to a structured benefits package, commensurate with experience and seniority.
