We are seeking an experienced Cost Control Engineer to join a major hyperscale data centre construction project in Northern Italy. Working as part of the Project Controls team, you will be responsible for monitoring project costs, forecasting expenditure, and ensuring financial performance aligns with project budgets throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project cost reports and dashboards.
Monitor committed costs, actual costs, and forecast expenditure.
Track budget performance and identify cost variances.
Support monthly cost reporting cycles and management reviews.
Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, and Planning teams to ensure accurate forecasting.
Analyse change orders and assess their impact on project budgets.
Assist with earned value management (EVM) and project performance analysis.
Review contractor cost submissions and validate financial data.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and expenditure reports.
Support project governance and financial control procedures.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Control, Project Controls, Commercial Management, or Project Services.
Previous experience on large-scale construction, industrial, energy, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or data centre projects.
Strong understanding of project cost management principles.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with cost management software.
Familiarity with Primavera P6, Power BI, SAP, Oracle, Eco Sys, or similar systems is advantageous.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
Fluent English required;
Italian language skills are advantageous but not essential.
