Senior Manager Subcontracts

Experteer Overview   In this role you drive the Subcontracts function to support major energy projects  lead multiple teams, align priorities with project goals, and allocate resources to resolve complex technical and commercial challenges. You will interface with Legal, Project Controls, Accounting, and Engineering to ensure compliant, on-time subcontract delivery. The position offers impact across projects, products, and services while advancing sustainable energy infrastructure.
Retribuzione / Benefits    Manage commercial aspects of subcontracts from inquiry to closeout under established procedures
Coordinate with Legal, Project Controls, Accounting, and Engineering on contract terms, cost forecasts, and technical content
Develop subcontract sourcing documentation with Engineering, Construction, and Project Management
Negotiate change orders and other commercial issues through closeout
Maintain electronic document management and ensure proper file documentation
Supervise daily activities of business support and production staff
Resolve standard and non-standard subcontract administration problems
Implement and enforce McDermott policies and procedures across teams
Ensure timely mandatory training for self and teams
Set day-to-day direction to support successful subcontract execution
Understand and communicate complex contract issues and obtain agreement
Manage team performance through assignments, skill assessment, and coaching
Collaborate with budget holders to meet project objectives
Administer subcontract documents in the field from award to closeout
Read and interpret customer contracts with legal assistance
Responsabilità    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 15+ years of Subcontracts experience
Minimum 10 years of Oil & Gas experience with an EPC or Operator
Excellent communication skills
Strong knowledge of subcontract policies and processes
Proven ability to develop, negotiate, and administer complex subcontracts and related policies
Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Experience working in a multifunctional team environment
