Exide is looking for a Junior Process Engineer for its Italian plant.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, he/she will support the development and improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards
.The Junior Process Engineer will assist in evaluating and optimizing existing processes and will gradually be involved in the introduction of new manufacturing technologies, contributing to cost optimization, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives
.He/she will work closely with cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience in the production environment and supporting process quality activities. In summary, the Process Engineer acts as a process technologist within a manufacturing environment. The role is primarily field-based, with a strong focus on the shop floor and close interaction with production. Although it also involves data analysis and other office-based activities, it belongs to Operations rather than R&D

Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production method
Monitoring process modifications and upgrade
Helping ensure that equipment and materials operate according to specification
Supporting prototype development and new product/process introductio
Assisting in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to production processe
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve process and production issue

Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Electronic, or Materials Engineerin
~ Up to 1–2 years of experience (or internship) in process/manufacturing engineeri
~ Fluency in Italian and English (minimum B
~Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel in particular) and willingness to learn new too
~ Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial environmen
