Wood is looking for a Senior Technical Safety Engineer with proven experience in chairing HAZID and HAZOP to join its Projects – Process and Chemical Team. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week and with the possibility of short trips abroad, to lead / participate to HAZOPs and / or safety reviews at Client premises.#LI-Hybrid

The Role The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing Technical Safety aspects, studies, and workshops in a wide range of Projects (Refinery, Petrochemical, Pharma, etc.) under coordination of the Technical Safety Department Manager.

Expected:

First, and preferably, further degree level qualifications covering Engineering, Process / Design Safety or Environmental disciplines Experience in similar role at least 8 years

Experience in chairing HAZID / HAZOP workshop SIL Allocation / LOPA studies Experience in HSE aspects in engineering design (safety distances, ergonomics, fire & gas, etc) Knowledge of CE marking according to European Safety Directives Ability in team-working Multi-tasking approach Availability for business trips TUV (or equivalent) Functional Safety certification will be appreciated Fluent English and Italian Be eligible to work in Italy is a mandatory requirement

Compensation and compliance:

Permanent Collective Agreement (CCNL):

Impiegato consistent with role requirements and applicable CCNLCompensation

Gross Annual Salary: the initial gross annual salary will be 55.000, paid in 14 instalments

The compensation package will include applicable CCNL elements and company benefits
