Wood is recruiting for a Subcontracts Manager,  to join its Projects – Process and Chemical Team, focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.#LI-Hybrid

The Role Being part of the Subcontracting Department, will be responsible for preparing construction contracts, ensuring consistency among the team in the selection and management of construction subcontractors. Our Clients and Projects Designing the future. Transforming the world.

Expected:

Master Degree in an Engineering or relevant disciplines

Minimum 10 years experience in Subcontracts Selection and Subcontracts Administration at site

High developed Leadership capability and impact and influencing skills to lead subcontracting teams

Full knowledge of the contracting methodology for EPC construction subcontracts

Strong negotiation skills

Good Communication skills Computer knowledge (full Microsoft Office tool, in particular Excel)
Availability to move at job-site (anywhere)
Fluent English and Italian Compensation and compliance:

Gross Annual Salary: the initial gross annual salary will be 60,000, paid in 14 instalments The compensation package will include applicable CCNL elements and company benefits
