/p As a Field Service Engineer (Customer Engineer) at Applied Materials, you serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment.
You'll use digital analytics for troubleshooting and apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess and address technical issues.
Your responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various systems such as electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
Additionally, you'll coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

Upon completion of your training, you will be based in bAgrate Brianza (MB) /bor bCatania /b which are vibrant hubs for the semiconductor industry in Europe.
/p pbAn Applied Materials Field Service Engineer stands for: /b /p pField Service Engineers (FSE) are representing Applied Materials at customer locations.
They are in charge of the accuracy and quality of service solutions needed.
In addition, a FSE combines in-depth technical expertise with excellent customer support to implement best service practices such as: /pullip
On-site installation and support of advanced electro-mechanical and electronic wafer fabrication production equipment /p /lilip
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance independently or as part of a team /p /lilip
Systematic troubleshooting and fault elimination of the systems /p /lilipFSEs work across technologies such as:
Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal, Implant, Metrology, and Inspection.
/p /li /ul pbOur Trainee Program includes: /b /pullip
Theoretical and practical knowledge transfer, as well as international placements.
