The Role The Principal Electrical Engineer reports functionally to the Electrical Department Manager and operationally to one or more Project Managers. He/She is responsible, on projects, for leading a team of discipline engineers / designers, in a multi-office environment, while still performing technical tasks within the projects.

Expected:
Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, with 10/15 years of engineering experience in the required industry
Fluent written and spoken English and Italian Excellent leadership skills in Electrical Engineering with ability to handle complex multi-office projects (mega-projects)
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Proven track record in handling large teams of electrical engineers structured and spread across different offices
Conceptual, FEED and EPC / EPCm experiences
Knowledge of international codes & standards e.g. IEC, ANSI, IEEE, CEI ENProven knowledge of industry accepted electrical system analysis software such as ETAP and/or PTW SKM and Caneco Ability to use electrical data base, such as Intergraph Smart Electrical and Aveva Electrical, is a plus Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
