Audit Manager - AM Competence Center

Within the AM Competence Center, we are looking for a professional to support the Head of the AM Competence Center in the following key responsibilities:

Ultimately support the Head of Group audit in the supervision of audit activities – with respect to the entire Audit Value chain - carried out in the Asset Manager delegated by the Group Insurance Companies and in other Group Asset Managers controlled by Generali Investments Holding or outside the perimeter of Generali Investments Holdings (i.e. Lion River);

Where applicable, provide support ultimately to the Head of Group Audit for the execution of direct audit activities on the Group Asset Managers, in accordance with the audit rights established by the Investments Management Agreements and other agreements;

Support the execution in terms of steering and coordination of Group thematic audit, involving Group Asset Managers;

Provide advises and analysis related to the Asset Management business;

Preparation of the periodical reporting on audit results and supervision activity.

Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting or Finance;

Previous experience at least 10 years in internal or external audit, or other control functions, possibly in a financial institution (insurance company, asset management or banking);

Knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory environment, investments for insurance and asset management business;

Technical knowledge of investments and asset management (including real estate and real assets in general), finance and internal control processes;

Knowledge and ability to evaluate and enhance internal control processes and capability of performing risk assessment and execute audits;

International mindset and availability to travel abroad;

Good knowledge of computer work and advanced command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point);

Italian and English working proficiency.

Analytical, precision in execution of the assigned tasks with presentation skills and ability both to write in a clear and concise manner and to manage time in an effective manner;

Commitment to continuous learning and willingness to keep up to date on new developments in the audit field;

Comfortable to deal with and able to communicate effectively within the Audit Team and Auditees;

Self-motivated and able to work independently;

Integrity in performing the assigned tasks;

Flexibility to changes and capability of management simultaneous tasks;

Target oriented especially in stressed condition;

High level of confidentiality considering the type and number of information collected during the audit activity.

Any other foreign languages (French / German);

Experience with forensic auditing and professional certification (CIA, CISA, CFE).
