Finance Manager, Flagship Funds  Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy infrastructure? If so, CIP Terra Technologies is currently looking for a Finance Manager to support the Summanus project.
Team  The Finance Manager will become part of the wider Flagship Fund Europe team under CIP Terra Technologies and, more specifically, the Finance Management team with colleagues across Europe. The position is an integral part of the project team responsible for delivering the Summanus project in Italy under the Flagship Funds managed by CIP. Working closely with the project team will be central to the role.

You will have two reporting lines within CIP Terra Technologies: senior project team members such as the Project CEO as well as CCO, as well as the functional lead of the Finance Management team.
Role  The Finance Manager will assume overall responsibility for the financial management of the Summanus project in Italy, including the relevant project company. The selected candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, accuracy and continuous improvement of the project's financial management, while working closely with the project team and key stakeholders across the CIP platform, including the investment team and fund services.
Responsibilities   Managing and overseeing liquidity management, budgeting, reporting, compliance and project finance/corporate development activities for the project,
Working with CIP Fund Solutions on Accounting, Audit, Controlling, Treasury and Tax matters,
Overseeing financial planning, periodic financial performance and KPIs, and selected business case input for the project,
Supporting and ensuring that project audit activities are carried out efficiently and on time,
Overseeing and maintaining accounting, budget and forecasting, cost controlling and cash forecasting procedures and reporting deliverables for accuracy and completeness,
Managing and overseeing the use of external service providers for selected accounting and finance services,
Supporting M&A and project finance processes, including the preparation of due diligence materials, debt analysis and partial or full divestment of the project.
Candidate  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in financial management and accounting. An English-speaking candidate with knowledge of Italian accounting and tax systems, or a candidate who has previously worked in Italy, would be preferable. You also have substantial experience handling complex financial models and translating their results into sound business decisions.
