We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded  Senior Sales Manager  to join our  Global Trade Solution (GTS) team in Italy .

In this role, you will develop and manage strategic client relationships, identify opportunities for growth and deliver tailored trade and working-capital solutions. You will also play an active role in the execution of client mandates, ensuring that solutions move efficiently from initial opportunity through to implementation and ongoing delivery.

You will work closely with clients and colleagues across the bank to understand complex business needs, structure appropriate solutions and coordinate execution. In This Role You Wil

Develop and execute a sales strategy for an assigned portfolio of corporate clients, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and identifying opportunities across trade finance and working capital solutions.

Understand client requirements and translate them into commercially viable, risk-appropriate solutions, including guarantees, letters of credit, receivables finance, supply chain finance and inventory finance.

Lead the preparation and delivery of client proposals, presentations and commercial negotiations while managing the sales pipeline, performance tracking and forecasting.

Act as a key client contact throughout execution and implementation, providing clear updates, resolving issues and ensuring solutions are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed terms.

Coordinate closely with product, relationship management, credit, risk, legal, compliance and operations teams to secure approvals, complete documentation and ensure operational readiness.

Maintain strong risk, conduct and governance standards by monitoring client commitments and delivery risks, escalating material issues appropriately, supporting post-implementation reviews and identifying opportunities to optimise client outcomes.

You Should Apply If You Have

Significant experience in transaction banking, trade finance, working capital or corporate banking

Proven track record of developing and executing global trade solutions across various products: guarantees, Letter of Credits, receivables finance, supply chain finance, inventory finance.

Strong understanding of trade and working‑capital products, solutions and market dynamics.

Experience coordinating multi‑stakeholder client mandates across sales, product, risk, legal, operations and implementation teams.

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Strong delivery discipline, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines

Commercial acumen, strategic thinking and a clear focus on delivering client value.

Strong analytical and organisational skills.

Commitment to high standards of integrity, risk management and customer outcomes.

Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are an advantage.
