R&D Strategic Partnerships Manager
We are seeking an R&D Strategic Partnerships Manager to drive and coordinate the Smart Eyewear strategic roadmap, ensuring alignment between long‑term technological priorities and external partnership opportunities with high‑tech Corporates, Start‑ups, Research Centers and Industry Alliances. The role combines strategic planning, opportunity scouting, and structured coordination across internal stakeholders to secure smooth execution of the roadmap.
Main responsibilities
Identify, evaluate and prioritize emerging opportunities within the Smart Eyewear sector for next‑generation platforms.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective technology partners.
Coordinate and monitor the execution of the Strategic Partnership Roadmap, ensuring cross‑functional alignment and timely progress.
Track and ensure the successful execution of collaboration agreements with third‑party partners within the Smart Eyewear Ecosystem.
Provide structured and periodic cross‑functional reporting on all assigned projects.
Support RFIs and RFQs, including preparation of documentation, supplier relationship management, evaluation, and contractual set‑up.
Main requirements
Strong scientific background, capable of engaging in discussions on unfamiliar technical fields.
5+ years of experience in technology partnerships, business development, or product management roles within high‑tech or consumer electronics sectors.
Proven experience managing strategic roadmaps and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
Strong understanding of wearable technologies, smart devices, and emerging innovation ecosystems.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and effectively prioritize multiple projects.
Experience with R&D processes, IP management, innovation methodologies, or technology scouting frameworks is a plus.
Familiarity with due diligence and post‑acquisition processes is considered a plus.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
