Senior Clinical Project Manager (operational excellence) – Biometrics & Data Sciences

We’re looking for a Clinical Project / Operational Excellence Manager to play a pivotal role within our Biometrics & Data Sciences (BDS) function — driving operational rigor, financial oversight, quality standards, and continuous improvement across Phase I–IV clinical trials and Medical Affairs evidence generation programs.
Your Impact Reporting to the Biometrics & Data Sciences Director, you will:
Lead operational planning and oversight of biometrics activities (statistics, programming, data management, data science)
Drive realistic resource planning, timelines, and risk mitigation across studies
Act as the operational interface with external CROs, ensuring quality, compliance, and performance
Oversee biometrics budgets, cost proposals, and financial tracking in collaboration with Finance & Procurement
Champion process harmonization, SOP optimization, and inspection readiness
Embed a culture of continuous improvement and quality-by-design
Support governance, KPIs, dashboards, and strategic portfolio prioritization
This is a highly strategic and cross‑functional role, partnering closely with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, QA, IT, and Medical Affairs.
What We’re Looking For 7+ years of experience in biometrics, clinical research, or R&D within pharma/biotech
Experience with in a Biometrics environment (biostatistics, statistical programming, data management, not just general clinical ops)
Strong knowledge of clinical development (Phase I–IV) and GCP requirements
Proven CRO oversight and budget management experience
Background in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
Operational mindset with strong analytical, organizational, and influencing skills
A proactive, improvement‑driven leader who thrives in complex environments
Education University degree in a scientific/ project management field is required.
Preferred degrees Biometrics, Statistics, Statistical Programming, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline.
