Junior IT Project Manager

Junior IT Project Manager  Role Summary  Samsung SDS is the global IT and logistics arm of the Samsung Group, operating in over 40 countries. Through our smart logistics platform, Cello, we deliver innovative supply chain solutions to leading companies worldwide, optimizing everything from transport to warehouse operations. We are looking for a Junior IT Project Manager who will support local IT projects for logistics systems, coordinate carrier integrations, translate business needs into functional specifications, and manage project timelines and deployments.

Key Responsibilities   Lead local IT initiatives focused on logistics systems and digital transformation.
Coordinate carrier integration projects (EDI, API, SFTP) with logistics partners and regional headquarters.
Gather business requirements and convert them into clear functional specifications.
Oversee project scope, schedules, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
Collaborate with HQ development teams and external technology vendors.
Analyze operational processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
Support system enhancements and continuous improvement efforts.
Monitor production issues and manage incident resolution with relevant teams.
Maintain Cello TMS configurations and provide operational support when needed.
Prepare project documentation, process maps, and user guides.
Assist stakeholders across Operations, Warehouse, Transport, and Customer Service.
Requirements   Approximately three years of experience in IT project management, business analysis, or the implementation of logistics systems.
Fluency in English and Italian.
Solid understanding of logistics operations and processes.
Proven experience in delivering IT projects or implementing business systems.
Familiarity with EDI/API integrations is an advantage.
Project Management certification is considered a plus.
Strong expertise in logistics operations and workflow optimization.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems with a practical, hands‑on approach.
Capacity to perform effectively in fast‑paced, complex, and evolving environments.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with customers, partners, and internal teams.
Customer‑focused mindset combined with strong teamwork skills.
