Location:

: onsite/near Milan. The resource will be requested to work onsite from the client office at least 2 days per week (Via Crocefisso 27, 20123 Milan)
Type of assignment:  Full-time, CET time zone
Must be fluent in English written and spoken (Italian desirable)
Initial duration:  6 months (renewable).
Daily rate all-inclusive : 450 EUR - The candidates would need to be freelance contractors for a direct B2B contract.

For one of our projects with an International company, Dropa Code is looking for a  IT Business Solution Manager  to work in Milan (Italy). You will be expected to combine  technical delivery capabilities ,  business analysis skills , and  project support experience , with the objective of translating business requirements into effective, maintainable, and compliant technical solutions.
You will support both  application and data-related initiatives , with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies used across the data integration, analytical, and reporting landscape, including  Microsoft SQL Server ,  SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ,  Azure Data Factory ,  Azure SQL , and  Power BI . The referenced architecture explicitly describes a layered solution including an integration layer, data warehouse layer, analytical layer, and presentation layer based on these technologies.

Your responsibilities:

Support  Market IT  in the analysis, delivery, enhancement, and maintenance of solutions.
Work with business stakeholders to collect, clarify, and formalize requirements, and convert them into functional and technical implementation proposals.
Support technical delivery across data integration, reporting, and business application domains.
Contribute to project execution and coordination in accordance with  policies, procedures, governance, and development standards . Development standards explicitly require consistency, governance, maintainability, security, scalability, and compliance with standard development patterns and controls.
Provide support to the  Italian  and  Greece market .
Collaborate closely with Market business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL / integration solutions using SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
Maintain and enhance Power BI data models / datasets, ensuring consistency, usability, and maintainability.
Design and develop Power Apps solutions where required to support business processes.
Support testing, troubleshooting, correction, enhancement, and controlled deployment activities.
Produce or maintain functional and technical documentation.
Support project execution and coordination in line with internal governance requirements.

· Support application portfolio maintenance through the use of the Service Now system.

Your profile:

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

· 5+ years  of working experience  in complex organizations in IT/business solutions management,  ideally in a consumer-facing systems/applications.

· Strong hands-on capability in the following technologies:
Ø Microsoft SQL Server
Ø SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Ø Microsoft Azure Data Factory
Ø Visual Basic / C# Scripting and Development
Ø T-SQL, DAX, Power Query and Power BI Data Flows
Ø Power Apps development
Ø Power BI data model / dataset maintenance and development
o  Data source connection and dataset publishing
o  Data modelling in Power BI Desktop

· Power BI report development (an asset but not required)

· Architecture including  SQL Server Database ,  SSIS ,  Azure Data Factory ,  Azure SQL ,  Power BI ,  Power App  and  Power Automate  as core technologies supporting the integration, warehouse, and presentation layers.
Solid experience as an IT Business Analyst, including:
Ø Eliciting and documenting business requirements
Ø Performing impact and gap analysis
Ø Translating business needs into functional and technical solutions
Ø Preparing clear and structured documentation
Ø Working effectively with both IT and business stakeholders
Ø Project Management for small and medium projects
Ø Knowledge of agile approaches in Development and Project Management
Strong experience in  data integration ,  business intelligence , and  business application support/development

· Proven delivery experience in  business-facing  IT environments

· Experience working with distributed  stakeholders  and  market-facing teams

· Ability to combine technical delivery with business analysis and project support responsibilities

· Strong communication and collaboration skills

· Proficiency in  English , both written and spoken, to effectively interact with international stakeholders
