Key Responsibilities Coordinate domestic and international transportation arrangements (road, sea, air), ensuring timely delivery and real-time tracking of shipments
Manage full-cycle import and export processes, including preparation, verification, and submission of all required documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, certificates, etc.)
Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve logistics issues to minimize delays and operational disruptions
Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including import/export data, transportation logs, and cost tracking
Collaborate closely with sales, service, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery execution
Optimize logistics plans and routes to improve efficiency and reduce transportation and handling costs
Evaluate, select, and manage logistics service providers (freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers), ensuring service quality and cost competitiveness
Handle logistics cost control, invoice verification, and payment reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies
Support insurance handling and claims processes related to transportation damages or losses
Assist in continuous improvement of logistics processes and systems
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in logistics operations, particularly in import/export and transportation of heavy machinery or industrial equipment
Solid understanding of international trade processes, customs clearance, and logistics documentation
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive working style
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Experience in working with logistics service providers and managing vendor performance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and email communication; experience with ERP systems is a plus
Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken); additional European languages are an advantage
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Experience in construction machinery, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors
Familiarity with Incoterms, international shipping regulations, and customs compliance
Experience in multinational or cross-border business environments
Additional Information This position may involve coordination across multiple countries and time zones
Occasional business travel may be required
