One of our clients, a prominent multinational leader in the cutting machine products sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager to spearhead their expansion and consolidation efforts in the Italian market. This critical role will serve as the cornerstone of the company’s strategic presence in Italy.
As the Managing Director , you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:
Drive Strategic Initiatives :
Define and execute innovative positioning and commercial strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Oversee Operational Excellence :
Monitor daily operations, ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and quality in service delivery.
Cultivate Customer Relationships :
Build and sustain robust relationships with key clients while identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
Conduct Market Intelligence :
Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to uphold and enhance market leadership.
Inspire and Lead Your Team :
Foster a positive, motivating work environment that drives team success and achievement.
The ideal candidate will possess:
A proven track record in leadership roles within the cutting machine products sector or a closely related field.
Strategic thinking capabilities, coupled with a hands‑on approach to implementing effective solutions that deliver measurable results.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, facilitating effective interactions at all organizational levels.
A proactive and determined mindset when tackling challenges and exploring growth avenues.
Fluency in Italian and English is essential, and knowledge of additional languages is a significant advantage. Experience in a multinational setting is highly desirable.
The position is based near Milan, offering a competitive compensation and incentive package that reflects experience and qualifications. The company is also open to considering highly qualified Interim Management profiles.
