- Man Quality Assurance Manager Americas
Reports to    Global Quality Assurance and SQA Senior Manager
Main Role Purpose Description    Reporting to the Global Quality Assurance and SQA Quality Manager, the selected candidate will manage day‑to‑day operations for suppliers and co‑manufacturers across ingredient, packaging, and product categories. This role involves proactive management of supplier categories, development and implementation of quality and performance improvement programs, and support for initiatives related to new suppliers and new products. The Regional Supplier and 3rd‑party manufacturer Quality Manager AMERICAS will execute the organization’s Supplier Quality Program, serve on the Global Quality Suppliers and 3rd Party Manufacturer Committee, and act as the business partner for AMERICAS plants and stakeholders, coordinating with other supplier quality teams.
Main Responsibilities Description      Vendor Management – responsible for managing an evolving Global Vendor Management Strategy to assure continuous supply of safe, legal, and specified materials.
Lead supplier and co‑manufacturer selection and qualification activities, ensuring suppliers and external operations meet Campari Group Vision quality and regulatory requirements.
Manage performance and partner with suppliers and external manufacturers to address challenges and execute improvement plans.
Effectively support key business initiatives such as cost‑reduction projects and new product development, ensuring quality from design and compliance right from the first deliveries.
Vendor Auditing – audit and inspect vendors to assure their full compliance with Campari Group Quality requirements and specifications.
Primary Activities Descriptions      Ingredient and Packaging Suppliers – provide raw material and packaging expertise, including performance and data analyses that support proactive category planning under the Supplier Quality Assurance Program.
Work with the manufacturing units to resolve issues related to raw materials and vendors.
Lead mitigation of key supply‑chain issues/risks (vendors related) to improve and increase supplier reliability and performance.
Conduct supplier qualification activities at existing and prospective suppliers and/or external manufacturers as needed.
Responsible for managing supplier‑related systems including change control, NC/CAPA, Quality Agreements, specification development.
Provide guidance and support to project teams and affiliates regarding outsourced activities.
Track and trend key quality indicators/metrics to monitor vendor performance.
Responsible for quality technical assessments, quality agreements, supplier change control, supplier non‑conformance, and CAPA related activities.
Partner with Quality, R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Distribution, Regulatory and vendors to ensure compliance with product requirements, material/component specifications, company procedures, FDA, ISO, GFSI, etc.
Support R&D in production trials of new product releases across the suppliers/co‑manufacturing facilities.
Roll out of the new Vendors SAQ platform through the AMES Region.
Perform other duties as required or assigned by the Global QA and SQA Senior Manager.
