Site Quality Engineer; m​/f​/d

Position: Site Quality Engineer (m/f/d)
Overview  In this role you will lead and supervise site quality activities across HVDC converter projects in Italy and abroad. You will align site quality with project and customer requirements, train site personnel, and ensure robust QC processes for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical work. You’ll monitor inspections, manage deviations and NCR/CCRP workflows, and drive contractor compliance and quality KPIs. This position combines field leadership with a focus on delivering high-quality, on-site execution and timely problem-solving.
Responsibilities   Review contractual and local site quality requirements and ensure alignment with project Quality Plans
Deliver Quality Induction training to site personnel
Oversee quality control processes and ensure on-site inspections and tests are performed, documented, and validated
Manage completion system, NCR, CCRP and related quality tools with site training
Monitor site punch lists, certifications, and outstanding works and coordinate with completion manager
Provide site quality KPIs to stakeholders as needed
Participate in internal and contractor quality audits per site program

Verify contractor compliance with quality requirements and coordinate corrective actions
Support CoQP reporting processes at site according to HVDC processes
Qualifications   5+ years of construction quality site experience or operations
Change Management experience in large, complex projects
SO9001 knowledge
Fluent English and Italian (written and spoken)
Willingness to relocate to project site
Strong communication, result orientation, and collaborative listening abilities
