Senior Market Research Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will analyze the European car market, with emphasis on Italy, to extract regulatory, consumer, and trend insights that guide product definition. You will study competing models, support localization and technical decisions, and contribute to building Europe-focused R&D capabilities. You’ll translate market signals into actionable inputs for R&D and collaborate with the Italian Design Center to align aesthetics and functionality.

This position offers impact across strategy, design, and development within a mission-driven, global team.

Retribuzione / Benefits Research policies, regulations, trends and consumer preferences in the Italian/European auto market and output market-driven product insights for R&DTrack design, configuration, and performance trends of competing models in Europe to inform product definition and technical direction

Translate local market information into R&D inputs, including problem lists and localization requirements

Support establishing localized R&D capabilities in Europe by mapping regulations, resources, and networks

Build and manage collaboration with the Italian Design Center to align market insights with design, cockpit experience and materials

Help prepare for future European R&D centers by organizing market, regulatory and supplier information

ResponsabilitàBachelor degree or above; preferred majors include vehicle engineering, market research, economics, business analysis, data analysis5+ years in market research, product planning, competitive analysis, product definition or R&D support in automotive industry

Ability to translate market/regulatory/user data into product recommendations for R&DFamiliarity with Italian passenger car market structure, user habits, regulations, tax subsidies and NEV trends

Knowledge of European brands and configurations; ability to assess competitiveness across brands

Italian mother tongue or near-native level;
English as working language

Experience with OEM, Tier 1, consulting, market research or product planning is a plus
